This is a high-value experiential stay that allows you to connect with the spiritual heart of Nichiren Buddhist culture.

It teaches that all living beings share one great life force and that accumulating good deeds and living earnestly in the present moment is of utmost importance.
In today’s fast-paced world, this journey offers a rare chance to pause, reflect, and engage in traditional Nichiren practices such as mountain ascetic worship (Tohai) and chanting meditation (Shodaigyo) to look inward and explore how you wish to live your life from this moment on.

Chanting Meditation Shodaigyo Core Practice of Nichiren Buddhism
Shodaigyo is one of the most profound practices of Nichiren Buddhism, centered on the continuous chanting of the sacred mantra Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. Through the rhythmic repetition of the mantra, practitioners surrender both mind and body to the Buddha, turning inward to reflect on the self. In this process, harmony naturally arises between body and spirit reaching a state of unity with the divine.
The Power of Repetition and Resonance Vocal Chant Meditation

The act of vocal chanting sends subtle vibrations through the body, releasing physical tension and inviting deep relaxation. As the breath lengthens and awareness aligns with the sound, distractions fade away. A profound sense of calm and centeredness emerges, bringing emotional balance and quiet fulfillment.

The reverberation clears the mind of distractions, linking every voice and heart within the sacred hall. The drumbeat becomes a bridge between silence and devotion, guiding participants into a shared rhythm of presence and prayer.
Meditation of Inner Stillness Buddhist Inner Reflection

Through the repetition of the sacred mantra, the teachings of Buddhism are gently engraved into the heart. The mind becomes still, the spirit aligns, and awareness turns inward. Within that silence, one may feel a subtle connection between the self and the greater universe.
In the deep stillness of night, the heart grows silent and sacred.
Yomairi, the night pilgrimage, is a sacred form of worship dedicated to offering one’s thoughts to the divine in quiet contemplation.
